Te mau haamaitai a te atua!!! The blessings from God!!!

Alohaaaaaa ko'u 'ohana,

This past week was absolutely magical. First off, we just had general conference and they announced so many new temples. One of them is over on Raiatea and another one is going to be in Honolulu, Hawaii!!! Like what a great blessing that is for people all over the pacific and especially my beloved Polynesians that are scattered across the various islands in the sea.

Highlights:

- Went on a split with Elder Christensen and it was pretty fire. We biked back from the port to our house and the poor guy was sweating so much. We had a pretty good time filled with lessons, contacting and following the spirit. The man even drank half a vaimato 5 gallon jug when we were together. Pretty impressive if you ask me.

- Elder Tingey and I were so hyped after our split we decided to go contacting. We entered a neighborhood at around 10am and didn't leave till it was almost 6pm. We both thought it was only going to take 2 maybe three hours max but we were so wrong. We had a great time and met so many people that either hadn't talked to the missionaries or had talked to them in the past. We were hungry, we prayed and food was given to us. We ran out of water 5 hours in, we prayed and 10 minutes later we were given water to refill our bottles. I know God lives and I know he watches over ever single one of his children. No matter how big or how little our needs are, he is mindful of them and will take care of us as long as we are doing what he wants and is asking for us to do. That's not just for missionary work but for everything in our lives.

- We had a ward missionary activity and we had everyone watch the other side of heaven and talked about how Heavenly Father watches out for all of us and everyone really liked it. We even had a good amount of friends show up as well.

- We sent like a hundred text messages inviting people to our activity and then we pull up this Facebook group and Elder Tingey made a post and invited 16,000 people to come to our event. Pretty legendary!!!

- On Saturday we had a sick lesson with a couple who had talked with the missionaries in the past but weren't quite ready. Well as we got there the guy just opened up and talked about how he's since the blessings that come from living the gospel through his sibling and now he wants the same for his children and grandchildren. We started talking about baptism but then took a step back and let him know that in order for someone to take that step they must first learn and follow other commandments

- Got asked if I was native American because I just look so much like them...

- Elder Tingey was called a wolf

- Tahiti and Hawaii are getting new temples  💙

- Was compless for almost an hour and a half because Elder Christensen left and Elder Tingey was catching the boat back over from Tahiti. It was the weirdest feeling ever

Lowlights:

- Time is flying!!!

Spiritual thought:
