See You Soon!!!

Iaorana,

Writing this last email is giving me chicken skin. It's true when people say that even though missions seem like a long time it passes by in the blink of an eye. I am truly grateful for my mission experience and for all the people I was able to work with and learn from. We truly are called not to a place but rather the people living there. Although I served in some beautiful places it was always the aloha in the hearts of the people that made everything worth it.

This past week was filled with a lot of adventures. We were the logistics and support team for the office and housing people helping them do whatever they needed to get done. We went and picked up dryers as well as supplies for missionaries and even went to other sectors to get things in order before the transfers came. I learned a little bit more about the logistics behind the mission and how everyones skills work together to help the work of the Lord move forward.

I bear my testimony that God lives and loves each and everyone of us. He is the same yesterday, today and forever and works miracles in each of our lives every single day.

I'll be headed home Tuesday evening and I get in around 2pm Wednesday July 10th on United Airlines via San Francisco and would love to see all at the HNL airport. If not then, I'll be giving my homecoming talk July 28th at the Nuuanu/Lanakila Ward Building (622 N. Judd Street, Honolulu, HI) at 11am. For family and friends that can’t make it in person a Zoom link will be posted about a week prior.

"Mata'i haumaru e moana mania"

"Fair winds and following seas"

With All My Aloha for one last time,

Elder Ellis
