The Show Goes On!

Highlights:

- We got to go to the temple as a zone last Monday and it was amazing! I even got to see some missionary I haven't seen in over a year so that was pretty cool.

- Had a bunch of lessons like usual, but this time all of the members that would usually come with us where too busy so we didn't have a whole bunch of members at the lessons which was a little sad.

- We had another baptism this past Thursday!!! The spirit was so strong and when she went up to bear her testimony she had 4 pages front and back written out and everyone was just like woaaaaah

- Had to say goodbye to a whole bunch of friends because they haven't been progressing too much

- We had interviews with President and I finally got to give him another hug after 6ish months

- Ate traditional Tahitian food with our ward and there was more people at the ward event then their usually is at church. Food really does work wonders in gathering people here.

- We were waiting for church to start and I hear someone say, "Are you from Hawaii and one, and is one of your cousins a Bell?" I was almost certain he was going to start talking about my cousin Zoë then he started talking about Zack and how Zack had trained him in Africa, like what a small world!

Lowlights:

- No real lowlights for this week, so I guess I'll do a little gratitude thingy since it was Thanksgiving. I'm grateful for my family and friends who always keep me updated on their lived through messages and pictures.

I'm also grateful for the experiences I've had so far, these past 15 1/2 months have absolutely flown by and there's some days and weeks we're I'm just like "Where'd the time go?"

The ocean and the stars are another thing that I'm grateful for being able to look up at the stars or out at the ocean and know that we are never really far away from each other because the ocean connects us and the stars are there to guide us.

Spiritual Thought:

In mosiah 2:22 it says,  "And behold, all that he requires of you is to keep his commandments; and he has promised you that if ye would keep his commandments ye should prosper in the land; and he never doth vary from that which he hath said; therefore, if ye do keep his commandments he doth bless you and prosper you."

I love this little verse because it makes me think of the other simple scripture of "if you love me, keep my commandments". We are constantly reminded throughout the scriptures that it is super simple and if we just follow the teaching within life will go on. No need to worry because through faith everything will end up working out even if it's not how we thought it would.
