FULL SENDAHS, NO PRETENDAHS!!!

Kaoha nuiiiiiii,

The subject line was actually a title of one of my journal entries this past week. One of my old comps would also say, "ENVOYEZ" and he kinda got me hooked now I sy "ENVOYONS" all the time or basically "SEND IT". This past week definitely lived up to that and we came home every night absolutely dead.

Highlights:

- Found 3 new friends in 30 minutes of going door to door but this time we followed the spirit and it led us to specific people. Pretty cool because a couple minutes before my comp was like "it's dead here. I'm pretty sure the other missionaries already tried talking to these people".

- Went and visited some inactive members and ended up seeing a few of them at church.

- Became good friends with all the kids in this one neighborhood

- Saw a member from Bora who's now here for highschool, pretty cool and we talked for a bit to catch up

- Saw a whole bunch of pretty sunsets

- Visited a family and they just had there daughter and her two sons move back in and the family was interested in learning more about the gospel... Like whaaaaaaat

- Put up a Marquesian Flag as well as a Hawaiian flag in the house

- Found out the best way to safely pass through this one area with chronic and a bunch of drug dealers is to go through and fist bump everyone. Now when we pass they're all just like, "HOOOOOO HAWAIIAN, YOU GOOD?" and i respond, "Chill and cool bro" and now we get safe passage everytime.

- Took a picture with someone rooster, also saw a couple boys fighting clocks and it made me think back to the cocktail fights on Bora Bora.

Lowlights:

- Went a few days without finding any friends but we did meet a few guys and they each talked to us about the ocean and paddling or sailing which was sick. Especially when this one Papi started sharing stories about his life sailing on cargo carriers going up to the Tuamotus.

Spiritual Thought:

Alma 26:12,

"Yea, I know that I am nothing; as to my strength I am weak; therefore I will not boast of myself, but I will boast of my God, for in his strength I can do all things; yea, behold, many mighty miracles we have wrought in this land, for which we will praise his name forever."
