No sleep, neva sleep

Aloha kakou!!!

Pretty solid week with some few key events!

Highlights:

- Started off the week by going on a pretty sick nature walk with the district. Wouldn't say it was too much of a hike because the thing was pretty fast just 30ish mins there and another 30 mins back. None the less it was pretty sick and it got everyone together to do something.

- It has been crazy hot lately and we've been biking all over our sector lately. We've been chugging water like crazy and always end up showing up to lessons looking like a wet dog with a face of a tomato

- We went to see one of our friends but he wasn't home then this other guy right next door invited us to come talk with his brother and their friend. The brother and friend were drinking and smoking while the other guy was just vibing and thinking about life. We talked about life. We ended up connecting the Bob Marley and UB40 music they were playing to a message about the gospel. It was also pretty nice hearing Kingston Town as well as some Ziggy Marley and Gregory Isaac's

- Went on a split with Elder Tidball and we were able to have some solid lessons and a great time contacting trying to find new people

Lowlights:

- We had a few of our lessons cancel on us this past week because it has been a week long vacation for the kids here

- We left our house and biked 40 minutes to one of the last areas in our sector got there at 8:30am and the person we went to see was still knocked out and had no desire to get up. It was a little sad just because we knew we had another 40 minute bike ride ahead of us to get back to our house and then right after we had our district council with the other missionaries

- We had a pretty good split up the last 20 minutes when we got a call from our companions saying, "Something happened and we'd like to say we're sorry.... But we're still alive." We heard that and we thought they were just joking around about something but it turned out Elder Tingey had ran over Elder Murray's foot. Luckily nothing was broken by some miracle, the doctor just gave him some medicine and called it good

Spiritual Thought:

Mark 4:39 "And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm."

"Vents favorables et mer suivants"

"Mata'i haumaru e moana mania"

"Fair winds and following seas"
