Light the World!!!!

Pretty wild week!!! We ended up doing like four different Splits this past week. Over 30ish hours of walking and talking to people and a lot of good moments. We even saw a fireworks show from our apartment that topped it all off!

Highlights:

- We started off the week by finishing the hike we never ended up finishing up last Monday.

- Went on a split with Elder Mortensen and he had a car with him and we put that thing to use going to the highest parts in my sector... we ended up finding a few new friends.

- Elder Mortensen had a dog try and attack him but luckily got pulled back by their chain

- Got bit by a dog while trying to visit a family

- Found 20ish new friends because we were going contacting (going door to door) or talking with people on the street for at least 5 hours every day

- Got absolutely rained on a whole lot the entire week but the worst part was when the sun would come out or the day after because everything would just be insanely humid.

- Me and Elder Stoddard were talking and started hearing things and he's just like "Fireworks?!???" Turns out there was a fireworks show for the village Christmas party. Made me think back to home and how there's probably already people going and blowing some shells and cakes over there.

- We ate with a family in person for the first time in 2 weeks :)

Lowlights:

- Some of our dinner appointments ghosted us

- We had another person we were supposed to eat with actually block our number, so that kinda hurt.

Spiritual Thought:

Matthew 5:14-16

14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven

These few verses makes me thing of the song that says,  "This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine, let it shine, let it shine, let it shine!!!" Soooooo, this upcoming week I'd like to invite everyone to let there little light shine no matter where you are or who you're with.
