LUUUUUUIIIA!!!!!

Luuuuuuiiia le email list!!!!

Ho howzit everybody I hope you guys have been good. I wanted to start of this email with some energy because I just scored a Shell Vaa jersey and I'm psyched outta my mind right now!

Highlights:

- We had a BBQ at the beach with our Zone last Monday. Was really nice to have one Paina with everyone before transfers and just be at the beach watch the waves and sunset.

- Elder Moriniere (my new companion) arrived from Ahe (a small Tuamotu).

- We tried to visit as much members as possible in between our lessons and were able to make contact with almost all of our recent converts and friends during the first few days that Elder Moriniere got here.

- One of our friends passed her baptism interview and will be getting baptized this Sunday morning and we are so excited. We're going on four baptisms now while I've been in the ward. Power!!!! Hopefully we'll see a couple more after this one because we have a few friends who are also ready.

- Got two giant fishes that are taking up all the space in our freezer from a family.

- Didn't have dinner a couple nights and then both nights some families invited us to eat dinner with them.

- Met this guy on the side of the street after we had a lesson. We shared with him a little bit about the Book of Mormon and offered the book to him which he graciously accepted and even started crying which made both me and Elder Moriniere tear up a little as well. We both bore testimony of the truthfulness of the book and how Heavenly Father knows each one of us and loves and protects us also

Lowlights:

- My old companion flew out on Tuesday morning to Huahine. He was stoked to head out but sad at the same time. Super sad saying goodbye to him at the airport. Funny thing was our alarm went off at 5am and I was so confused as to why it was going off and then I was like oh yeah that's why. Took my a solid 5 minutes of wondering why I was up before the sun to remember that he was leaving that morning.

- My Maas360 account and my companions account (the application that restrict things on our phone) doesn't allow Facebook. Elder Pehrson and Elder Burch if you're reading this, could you change the access on my account please, and thank you.

Spiritual Thought:

In Mosiah 2:41 it reads, "And moreover, I would desire that ye should consider on the blessed and happy state of those that keep the commandments of God. For behold, they are blessed in all things, both temporal and spiritual; and if they hold out faithful to the end they are received into heaven, that thereby they may dwell with God in a state of never-ending happiness. O remember, remember that these things are true; for the Lord God hath spoken it."

Holding out to the end is probably one of the best things we can learn to do in this life. Holding out till the end enables us to better ourselves in all aspects. We can learn that we must humble ourselves and let the Lord prevail in our life. We can also grow different attributes like charity and love for the people around us as well as patience. Patience within our selves, patience with our family and friends, and patience with the people that we come in contact with.
