Alohaaaaaa e mele kalikimaka ia kakou, Aloha and Merry Christmas everyone : ) So much has happened this past week, from seeing the entire mission at our mission conference. Seeing my MTC companion Elder Hill for the first time in 14ish months, catching up with friends and teaching a whole bunch of crazy people over here in our sector. Over this past week I've been reflecting on all of my experienced this past year and all the new faces that have become family. From ending last year and starting this past year in Bora Bora to trips to Raiatea and then back to Tahiti. Having one of the most legendary districts (Arue Braddahs) that was able to push and make change happen in the Mahina/Arue zone. Then taking a flight over to Nuku Hiva and after to Ua Huka. Learning the real meaning of planning especially when the boat with food wouldn't come on time. Learning how to deal with unclean water and growing to love the people of the island. Working with them and serving them no matter wh...

Merry almost Christmas 🎄  party animals!!!! We had a pretty jam packed week with a lot of fun things that happened. We started off the week by doing some watercolor painting with the district and it definitely wasn't the sisters first time because they absolutely killed it. While we were working on our art pieces, Elder Ward was also working on his own art piece... aka cutting Elder Chisholms hair. The day after we had our transfer calls and woah half our district got transfered out which was low-key sad but all the people that came in our equally legendary. There's two more people in the district with roots that go back to Hawaii along with my companion who's a Korean from Quebec who's literally the funniest guy ever and always be cracking jokes. We had a few more lessons with some drug dealers. Went to eat at the local Chinese restaurant with Elder Ward and another member in the ward and got a front row seat of some guys selling pakalolo, smoking pakalolo and smoking...

Pretty wild week!!! We ended up doing like four different Splits this past week. Over 30ish hours of walking and talking to people and a lot of good moments. We even saw a fireworks show from our apartment that topped it all off! Highlights: - We started off the week by finishing the hike we never ended up finishing up last Monday. - Went on a split with Elder Mortensen and he had a car with him and we put that thing to use going to the highest parts in my sector... we ended up finding a few new friends.  - Elder Mortensen had a dog try and attack him but luckily got pulled back by their chain - Got bit by a dog while trying to visit a family - Found 20ish new friends because we were going contacting (going door to door) or talking with people on the street for at least 5 hours every day - Got absolutely rained on a whole lot the entire week but the worst part was when the sun would come out or the day after because everything would just be insanely humid. - Me and Elder Stoddard w...

Alohaaaaaa, Woah, there were so many highlights and changes from this past week and I got a new companion or at least for the last week of the transfer. Highlights:  - We went on a hike this past p-day and it was pretty sick because it was the first hike I've done since Nuku Hiva and having done hikes every single Monday over there made not doing hikes here kinda sad... soooo if anyone knows of hikes in Punauia or Paea you can send them my way because Google maps only has one or two in our area. - Went to get Poke after district council and we were watching some guys hydrofoil at the same time - Half our lessons got canceled this past week but it just left of with more time to visit members and get to know other people in the area. - We found some new friends throughout the week and had an amazing Sunday filled with some miracles because we were able to find some other new friends all in one neighborhood. - Walked 45 minutes to the doctor and then another 45 minutes back and got me...
